⭐ Our Goal: The WDFV Lawrenceburg Veteran Resilience Hub ⭐
This vision represents the future of veteran care—a permanent, climate-resilient 'Smart Hub' that serves as both a local sanctuary and a national command center. By modernizing our infrastructure, we are removing environmental barriers that prevent disabled heroes from accessing life-saving training. This $100,000 initiative is backed by a proven 16:1 Social Return on Investment and over a decade of success. We aren't just building a facility; we are securing a lifelong home for our heroes.

⭐The WDFV Lawrenceburg Veteran Resilience Hub⭐
Since 2012, Working Dogs For Vets has stood as a beacon of hope, maintaining a 100% veteran retention rate and a zero suicide rate across over 800 pairings. We are now evolving our Lawrenceburg headquarters into a state-of-the-art 'Smart Hub' designed for long-term climate resilience and accessibility. By integrating energy-efficient technologies and specialized training environments, we are ensuring that disabled heroes with temperature-sensitive conditions have a safe, year-round sanctuary. This $100,000 initiative isn't just an upgrade—it is a commitment to 20 more years of life-saving service, maximizing every dollar to return 16x the social value to the veterans we serve.
Our program is not just a service; it is a proven economic engine. Over 13 years, WDFV has reduced the burden on federal systems by millions in clinical costs while maintaining a 100% veteran retention rate and zero suicide rate. By funding the Lawrenceburg Resilience Hub, you are securing a facility that has maintained a 98% rescue rate for shelter dogs while scaling to meet the needs of our nation’s heroes. A $100,000 investment today catalyzes over $400,000 in immediate social service value in Year 1 alone.
⭐CURRENT STATUS: THE ANCHOR OF OUR MISSION 3138 Buffalo Rd, Lawrenceburg, TN⭐
Status: At Capacity

⭐ Why Now ⭐
2026 Emergency Infrastructure Report "Following the impacts of Storm Fern (Feb 2026), our facility reached a breaking point. Current infrastructure cannot safely accommodate veterans with temperature-sensitive conditions during extreme weather, blocking 40% of local applicants from year-round training. An additional a massive storm swept through on April 27th, 2026 where Working Dogs For Vets recieved a direct hit by a tornado. Our staff and service dogs are all safe. We are incredibly grateful that despite the damage, our team and service dog partners are unharmed. The damage to our facility however is very significant. The wind was powerful enough to completely uproot trees, bending flag poles and tossing heavy equipment. The 8,000 sq. Ft. Training center has major roof damages, trees have came down through several structures, and our fencing and trails are currently blocked or destroyed. We had to hit pause and have professional inspections. We have replaced the flag poles, and hope to have repairs completed before October 2026.
We are still continuing to serve veterans and dogs alike and closing this safety gap by transforming our headquarters into a resilient, ADA-compliant sanctuary.
Take Action
The Anchor of Our Mission: 3138 Buffalo Rd, Lawrenceburg, TN
"This facility has been the heart of our operations, serving over 800 veteran-dog teams. However, as documented in our 2026 Emergency Infrastructure Report, the current structure has reached capacity. Following Storm Fern, it is clear our veterans require a resilient, climate-controlled environment. The Community Hub initiative will transform this site into a 'Smart Hub' with high-efficiency HVAC and advanced accessibility, ensuring no veteran is ever turned away due to weather or facility limitations."
